*     2007  —  Sponsors founding of South Bay Squadron

*     2004  —  USPS Celebrates its 90^th Anniversary

*     2003  —  Squadron celebrates its 50th anniversary,

                     and becomes “San Diego Sail & Power Squadron”

*     1998  —  Helix Squadron surrenders its charter

*     1983  —  Mission Bay Squadron surrenders its charter

*     1982 —   First women members accepted

*     1964  —  District 28 formed, consisting of

                     Balboa, Helix, Mission Bay, Phoenix, San Diego

                     And San Luis Rey Squadrons

*     1963  —  Sponsors founding of Mission Bay Squadron

*     1962  —  Sponsors founding of Helix Squadron

*     1960  —  Sponsors founding of San Luis Rey Squadron

*     1958  —  Squadron becomes a non-profit corporation

*     1952  —  Charter issued to San Diego Squadron
