SAN DIEGO SAIL & POWER SQUADRON
PAST COMMANDERS’ BARBECUE
AND SEPTEMBER GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
 
The P/Cs will do all the work, but you’ll need to pay $5 per person 
to underwrite the cost.  Bring friends, family, and prospective USPS members.
Come at noon and make a day of it, socializing with others 
and enjoying the end of summer!
Members of the South Bay Provisional Squadron are invited to join us.


When:  Saturday, 27 September 2008
from 1200 to whenever (?)
Food will be served between 1330 and 1430.
That's 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm for your landlubber friends.
There will be a brief squadron meeting thereafter. 
 
                                    Where:  Chula VistaBayfront Park       
[Off Route 5, about 13 miles south of Route 8]
Directions:  Route 5 to J Street (Exit 7B), go westbound off the ramp,
and turn left into the park drive.  There is plenty of parking.
We will have a booth set up, with the SDSPS banner 
hung up on the parking lot side.
 
Menu:  Hamburgers & hotdogs, with all condiments,
chips, cole slaw and cookies and brownies for dessert.
Sodas and water, available, but you may BYO drinks.
 
What to bring:  A deck chair, sunscreen, and a sweater or light jacket in case the wind comes up. Any drinks you’d like other than soda or water.
 
How:  Please make reservations(# of people planning to attend) so that we can plan for food purchase. (Specify if you'd like veggie burgers.)
