[SDSPS Members] Resend of May 2008 SDSPS Sail Fleet Race

All,  I made a copy/paste error.  I think it's cleared up now.  Contact me
if you're still confused.

 

I can't believe it's May already!  Our "Day before Mother's Day" (subtle
hint) race will be down under the bridge to south bay.  But it won't be as
far into south bay as in the past.  Since we're starting at G17 it would be
a long race for the bigger boats to try to go around 26A twice.  So, the
bigger boats will only be racing down to 26 and back.  The smaller boats
will round Bridge Piling #20 only.  That will still make the south bay race
a little longer than before.  If there's another fleet starting at G17 at
1200, we will start ten minutes after the other fleet.  I shall endeavor to
sound one long horn one minute before the ten minute horn; hence one long
horn 11 minutes before, one horn ten minutes before, one horn five minutes
before; and one horn at start.  Please monitor VHF channel 68!

 

If you have a boat and would like to race or if you would like to crew on
someone else's boat, please call co-chair Mike Sampsel at 619 421-3345 and
notify him of your intent to race so he can coordinate extra crew and boats.
