  Several of you have indicated you are coming, but I have not received your  payment as yet. Please protect your reservation and mail your payment today, made payable to SDSPS, my address is below.  
  In the interest of introducing your friends to the Squadron and great courses of instructions, be sure to invite them to register early by snail mail.

  September General Members Dinner/Meeting 
  & Program: "Exploring the Sea of Cortes."
  Speaker: Capt. Patricia Rains, noted author and charter captain.
     Autographed copies of her book, Mexico Boating Guide, the Douglass, Hemingway comprehensive Baja fold-out map, and other useful publications, will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.

   Light refreshments at 1830; Dinner, meeting, and program from 6:30 p.m. 
  in the" Starboard Room", Marina Village Conference Center
  1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109
   
  Cost:    $25 per person for members and guests.  Members may attend the meeting and program (no meal) free.  Guests of members will be charged $8 to attend the program. The public is welcome.        Reservations are required. 
   
  Dinner, provided by Ranch Catering, includes a buffet of Baron of Beef au jus, carved on station, with horseradish; Mediterranean Chicken wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese, chives and sun-dried tomatoes; choice of Caesar Salad or tomato & mozzarella cheese, with basil & balsamic dressing; grilled vegetables, herbed dill red potatoes; coffee, lemonade or iced tea.  Alcohol is not permitted.          
   
  Reservations are essential by: Noon on Tuesday, 11 September 2007.
