[SDSPS Members] A test of your skills

  To all Power Squadron members:
   
  You are invited to attend and participate in a National Safe Boating Film and Test during our General Meeting this Friday, May 11th, beginning at 6:30 PM.
   
  Last year, many members of the San Diego Sail & Power Squadron participated in the local filming of the United States Power Squadrons® National Safe Boating Test.  The footage made
  here on San Diego Bay, combined with segments from other parts of the country, has been combined to produce a 50-minute videotape which will be released to television stations nation-wide,
  to publicize National Safe Boating Week [May19-25].
  Because of our local participation (coordinated by P/C Dave Baer, SN, assisted by many other SDSPS members), our squadron has obtained an advance copy of this film, which will be featured
  this Friday. You won't want to miss this special preview to test your knowledge of safe boating topics, including Homeland Security,
  Rules of the Road, Aids to Navigation, Carbon Monoxide poisoning potential, and Small Boat Safety!
  See if you can spot local landmarks (and water scenes) as well as identifying at least one member of our local squadron who has become a "film star" as the result of appearing in this production. 
  This is film is not to be missed.
   
  Because of a catering conflict at Southwestern
  Yacht Club, we will offer only light refreshments and dessert (no meal) beginning at 6:30 pm in the Staff Commodore's room. But do save room for the great desserts we will be serving, along
  with coffee, tea, or a soft drink, all for the nominal
