SEAMANSHIP emphasizes what you need to do to maintain safe control of your boat. It highlights boat handling – how boats handle in the water, slow speed maneuvering and then to sea in open water. Also covered are “the Rules of the Road”, followed by anchoring, emergency conditions and marlinspike. Included with the student manual is the USPS Guide The one Minute Guide to the Nautical Rules of the Road. This course provides a strong foundation for Power Squadron classes.
The course will be approximately ten weeks long and will cost $45.00.  Please call Ken Glaze at 619-640-8862 for additional information or to register for the class.
