[SDSPS Members] SDSPS Sail Fleet Race for February

Fellow SDSPS members,

The first SDSPS Sail Fleet race of 2007 is Saturday, 10 February.  It 
will be an easy race to get us back into the swing of things from FM 19 
out to buoy 8 or 9 and back.  There is a course for sail boats over 27 
feet and a shortened version of the same course for boats 27 feet and 
under.  All our races are easy races and they are more of an excuse to 
get out on the bay for the day, have fun and hone our skills than a 
guns blazing fight for first place.  We aren’t aggressive and generally 
stay out of each other’s way.  We invite new members to come out and 
join us.  Don’t let your experience, or lack thereof, hold you back.  I 
learn something new with every race and can always use some sage 
advice.  If you have a boat and need crew or if you don’t have a boat 
and would like to crew please contact the co-chairs, Mike Sampsel at 
619-421-3345 or me, Don Litzenberg, at 858-487-8491 no later than 
Thursday the 8th  for the February race.  

The attached Word file is our February race course.  Hope to see you on 
the bay!
