[SDSPS Members] District 28 Boating Activities

Ahoy, all you Sailors and Power Boaters,

The incoming District 28 Administrative Officer is looking for someone to 
serve as Chair of the Boating Activities for the district's five squadrons 
[Balboa, Phoenix, Lake Mohave, San Diego & San Luis Rey].

The position involves making information available to the various squadrons 
for joint on-the-water outings during the 2007 watch year, attending at 
least one of these outings and coordinating the activities with local law 
enforcement for the San Diego event.  The D28 Boating Activities Chair will 
also serve as liaison between the local squadrons and national USPS 
headquarters.

This year's planned boating activities include an "Inland Rendezvous" at 
Katherine Landing, AZ on April 6-8 [Easter weekend], a trip to Oceanside on 
July 7th [to attend the San Luis Rey Squadron's annual picnic], and a 
"Coastal Rendezvous" and raft-up at La Playa Cove on the weekend of August 
3-5.
